Eka at one point added that you need to be logged in to see some tags, so you can't even use the Wayback Machine if the art was around the few years that was about. Then, you had the issues where a bunch of art was removed when the server was moved, and the creators of the lost art had to ask for their content to be added back, so a lot of art was lost due to inactive artists and people not knowing. Finally you had the blacklisting of some tags like loli which made a bunch of art invisible if they had blacklisted tags. It's still there, but good luck finding it. I think over 30% of the art on eka has been lost due to these and many other problems, and it's always depressing to think about it.
