>I dont really see the appeal of Keto
Well in theory at least, it won't reduce muscle mass when using this diet, it will regenerate your cells making you healthier, improves brain and heart, it will lower your appetite making OMAD(One Meal A Day) much easier to do, and Carbs are the Devil so it's good to declare Jihad on all carbohydrates
except Fiber. Obviously when Jesus gave bread to the apostles it was a Keto Bread made out of Almond Flour, and not grain, and when he said that bread was his body, he meant ketons, it's just that this information was lost in translation, trust me.
Hope you get that the last point was a joke.
>Was that your experience?
I have used it three times, and plan on using it soon after all the Easter food I ate. When I used the diet, I didn't feel any different from normal, but I also knew what I was doing, ate lots of vegetables, a handful of blackberries daily, and so on. To combat bad breath caused by Keto, I took keto-friendly tic-tacs, I already showered at least once per day, so body odor wasn't a problem. Never went on more than two months, and while I couldn't do OMAD, I did do one big meal, and a small snack after a few hours.
Do I recommend this diet? If you are willing to document yourself, understand all the risks associated with it, plan on how to mitigate them and are willing to count your
calories carbs, then sure. Are there better diets? Maybe, I also don't think there is a universal diet that works for everyone, this might be due to genetics, it might explain why the French have lived fine for centuries on a high fat diet, while the Japanese on a a high carb diet. Maybe it will do wonders for you, maybe it will make you sick, this is also part of the documentation you should do before attempting this diet. For me it worked great, but I don't think this will apply to everyone.
