2020 Election Thread Anonymous 10/30/2020 (Fri) 01:52:47 Id: a5d7a4 No. 3945
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2020/10/mark-sunwall/not-an-election-a-plebiscite-on-the-social-order/ What does /liberty/ think of this argument? Who would/are/did you vote for?
>implying change will/can be done by voting lmao
>>3946 >implying change will/can be done by NOT voting
>>3946 If you had asked me this before I read that article, I'd have thought the same thing. But if I think of it as a plebiscite on the current social order, "Are you O.K. with the lockdowns and critical race theory?" it really clouds my thoughts on voting. That, and, Trump is the first President in a while who's making the U.S. leave other countries.
>>3947 Do you really think the state want you to be free? It is impossible to change the system by entering it, the system corrupts anyone that gets in. Stick with agorism, black markets, civil disobedience, tax evasion, cryptocurrencies, encryption etc. THIS is what will lead us to freedom. We need to change the culture and the overall mindset of the people, even if such thing as getting freedom through the state (the number one freedom violator) existed, there will always be some college student that feels entitled of "free" stuff and such. As long as people have faith in the state, the state will always exist, this is the reality of the stuff, we need to change the mindset of people through culture and kill the faith they have in the state, electing "libertarian" politicians will not do it. And, the so called idea of a minimal/nightwatch state simply doesn't work, the natural tendency of the state is to grow and inflate (just take a look on how the US started and how it is going today) >>3948 I understand where you are coming from but honestly, I don't think voting to show you are not okay with lockdowns is the way, civil disobedience is how you should go.
>>3952 Voting is free, you can do all your resistance stuff and also vote for the lesser evil, Hitler came to power via democratic process.

Magacommies are fucking SEETHING at Libertarians on /pol/ right now for making Biden win and it's hilarious.
>>3981 they're retarded since Libertarians would have voted Biden on not voted. Libertarians who would vote jojo were basically democrats on social issues. In any case, America is split
>>3982 This. The LP is just a "dude weed lmao" party. In any case, the GOP still has the senate, right? So, what damage can Biden really do?
Oh no, Trump is so belligerent and divisive, he's going to get us into a war with another country etc etc https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/biden-administration-would-keep-us-forces-syria-counter-russia >>3983 Stack the courts and executive order everything. It's not just that it's the Biden administration now. It's that the establishment now know terrorism, big tech censorship, authoritarian lockdowns, and massive disinformation have been shown to work to win an election.
>>3982 >>3983 JoJo wanted to end the fed and income tax. Much more based than GAYry Johnson.
>>3985 too bad she spent all the time talking about the BBC and his VP tweeted about transgender genocides and shit. They were just uncharismatic as shit. Gary Johnson got like 4-5%, compared to this miserable 1%.
>>3984 >Stack the courts and executive order everything. The judicial appointments have to be approved by the Senate though.
>>3995 Yes, but don't forget the RINO NeverTrumpers. Alternatively, they might rediscover "fiscal restraint"; who knows?
Nope, democracy is a fluke, i´m a individualist.
