changing guitar strings Anonymous 04/11/2021 (Sun) 18:20:39 No. 27 [Reply]
I bought Martin & Co medium size .013-.056 for my acoustic and I replaced my B string, Did I make a good choice in strings? There are so many brands. Should I cut all the strings or should I replace it one at a time? Also is it normal that the replaced string keeps losing it's tune?

>>27 >Also is it normal that the replaced string keeps losing it's tune? yup, just play normally and retune it every now and then it will eventually stay in tune
>>27 if you just replaced them pull the string out a bit at the 12th fret and keep playing and retuning
This is now the guitar general. Thinking of learning to play sheet music for the guitar. Had learned a bit for choir and school band, but that was mostly ad hoc and my knowledge is rusty.

Has anyone got those old Genesis-Undertale images/edits? They were some of the last stuff I saw on 8chan 1.0 before it went down the gutter, and the Genesisposting was funny as shit.

Ozzy Osbourne (1948 - 2025) Anonymous 07/23/2025 (Wed) 00:40:00 No. 461 [Reply]
Don't know if there's anyone even here but there's still no thread so may as well mark the occasion. Ozzy Osbourne passed away today at 76 after battling Parkinson's.

So, has anyone actually listened to her stuff? Is it truly as bad as people make it out to be? Or are there some hidden gems?
is this the laughing at lennon and his fans thread?

Hi, looking for a site to download music in high quality: I-tune like or something else... It's for a DJ set. Thx, Pierre

1 more pro gamer tip if someone has good well categorized rips with catalog ids and the kind of music you're looking for, right click user and look at their library manually if they let you. sometimes search sucks and their shares won't show when you try searching for them but you can find stuff that way.
>>68 I miss smloadr, until this january where it broke I was using it for almost everything. Right now what I use are these >sitting on clouds for OSTs >kh insider for other OSTs >jpopsingles for a few jap songs >jpop80s for old jap music >download music school for bandcamps >visual japan kei blog for visual kei >doujin style for doujin music yt dlg for everything else or if all of the above fail to have what I need, which is often. In order to download them in better quality I search the word "topic" in quotation marks on Google alongside the track so that it downloads the YouTube music version, but usually most album playlists have these as defaults. Keep in mind that use all of the above while using Ublock Origin and Universal Bypasser on Firefox. But if there's a way to download music from deezer for free or better yet a fix for SMloadr I'd take it. SMloadr was so convinient and I hate having to manually input track Metadata for almost all tracks. Guess I'll have to try soulseek after this thread.

Music from artists that reside from Asia, except KPOP since there's already 3 threads about it to avoid making the board redundant.

Songs about feeling lonely, wanting to be loved, and having no luck at love. Anonymous 08/13/2022 (Sat) 01:01:18 No. 70 [Reply]
Please recommend me songs on this topic, I will add the link to a playlist with the songs I have so far about it. But some clarifications before that, please don't mention songs that are about wanting "Your" love, or songs about a "her/him", nor songs about a relationship(s) that ended/is ending. As you might guess, I've never been with someone, and I don't even have a 'crush' at the moment. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5M2xiZ1Pi3JV6sgg7TwNaA?si=a3186a876dd94aac Songs about wondering why you want to be in a relationship so hard are also welcome, oh, and it doesn't matter what gender the singer is.

Post OSTs that you like, doesn't matter for what kind of media they're for
>>437 Don't know why but 8moe wasn't allowing me to upload the version with metadata of the other 4 tracks and had to pass them through a converter in spite of them already being MP3s. Will try again individually to see if they work.
>>438 Chase from uncharted waters with metadata doesn't want to be uploaded for whatever reason.

Death Metal with positive life lessons Anonymous 04/19/2025 (Sat) 06:09:37 No. 277 [Reply]
I used to be a fan of death metal with just pure blood and guts like Cattle Decapitation (whom I regret being a fan of) but lately I find myself liking oldschool death metal like Death. They started off as edgy teenagers writing about death and violence but their later works have a deep meaning, like Crystal Mountain. They matured the exact same way I did.
>>277 symbolic's one of those metal albums that i've been listening to my whole life and it still gets a listen every month or so.
Good taste anon. Death will always be my favorite as they are the main reason im so into death metal to begin with. I like me some Obituary, Grave and Bloodbath youtube.com/watch?v=PhQ1Fe0oKPM
