The controls are not gonna be the difficult part. Just experiment with your characters' buttons and learn what they do and what situations to use them in (learn what are good pokes, what are anti airs, etc).
Same with special moves. Try to observe what each of them do and how you can use them.
For example when someone knocks you down and is in your face pressuring you, try doing Juri's EX pinwheel kick (the one where she flashes) as a "get the fuck off me" kind of move.
But if you're an absolute beginner and don't know how to do motion inputs, worry not. Motion inputs are actually really simple to do and you'll get the hang of them soon.
To do a quarter-circle move, try to do the quarter circle as the same time as you press a button. Think of it as you're trying to do the quarter-circle within the time frame it takes to press the button (punch or kick).
To do a dragon punch, it's basically the same as doing a quarter-circle move, it's just that you start with the forward input first. So first, walk forward, then do a quarter circle forward + punch or whatever the move is.
First try doing it while holding forward.
Then try to do it without walking forward at all.
You'll get the hang of it.
