pikachuwow (artist) Anonymous 02/20/2021 (Sat) 20:06:56 Id: 0913f1 No. 11342
Does anyone know or recognize this artist? I followed them on Pixiv and talked to them for a short time but they disappeared awhile back. They were very nice and even took some requests. I can't find them anywhere. I didn't get to save all of their work but I did save most of it before their account got wiped.
First time hearing. But then again, I don't really seek drawings that try to be this realistic.
>>11360 Yeah, that's fair. I tend to like art in general.
>Does anyone know or recognize this artist? I don't, but thanks for sharing
>>11376 No problem. I wanted to upload what was lost at least.
Way too uncanny yo not be traced. I wouldn't post or save these.
>>11396 Nah, they're not traced. The artist hates to draw real people. They like to challenge themselves to draw everything original. They did however make an exception for me at one point and drew Hermione from Harry Potter, per my request. She has plenty of art around online anyway. They only did it because I helped them save some of their older work.
>>11400 Honestly, these would look good for chapter art for lewd or even ghost stories.
>>11401 They would be very fitting illustrations for a story and I even suggested that the artist do some for existing stories. Would have been interesting to see.
>>11400 Of course he's going to say they're not traced. Nobody's going to confess to tracing. Just because you helped him out doesn't mean he's going to be honest to you.
>>11400 What >>11404 said. Why would a porn artist admit to tracing? Especially considering the subject matter.
>>11404 Yeah, true enough. Plenty of them do confess though, especially on Pixiv. You would think they wouldn't like you said.
>>11396 What a ridiculous, baseless assumption.
Fantastic stuff, would love to see more.
>>11408 It's incredibly realistic on an uncanny level. Remember even Rustle was using CP.
It's amazing how the people who have the LEAST knowledge about how art really works are the first to jump on the "oh, it must be traced from real photos" train. Like they take one look, assume that because they, personally, cannot fathom producing that piece or artwork, it must be "faked" somehow. They don't even understand what it means when something is referenced, thinking that it's literally all "tracing". Complete idiocy. I'll bet Michelangelo duct-taped real people onto the fucking Sistine Chapel ceiling so he could trace them, too!
>>11435 Michelangelo is not incredibly realistic. You can still tell it's creative license. Here it's incredibly suspect.
>>11438 What is "realistic"? Define it for me. What, exactly, is it about these drawings that proves its been "traced". If you can't come up with anything, you're just talking out your asshole.
>>11440 I have no proof. Just as you have no proof they aren't traced.
>>11442 One of the basic rules of reason is the person making the claim must bring the evidence, for a claim made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
Even if they are traced they are still impressive.
>>11444 This isn't a court.
>>11452 Doesn't change the rules of logic and reason. If I claim there's a fucking dragon on your front lawn right now, that doesn't mean there IS if you don't go check. There is literally no reason to even think these were traced other than they don't have anime face and you going "hurr, these pics sus bro".
Here is an example of what an artist can do without tracing. Stfu artlets you can't say for sure this guy traced shit.
>Asking for proof when you know that said proof is illegal to post. HMMM...
>>11483 There even BEING proof of that kind would require anon to somehow have consumed all the loli CP in the world and have a photographic memory of all of them so as to know for sure off the top of his head that these drawings match something he's seen. Which is so fucking asinine we can discount it entirely. Trying to muddy the waters does not help your lack of proof.
not sure if youll ever see this OP, but you should try reuploading what you have on pixiv. i have unearthed a handful of lost artists by putting their work out there and being informed or chastised by people who know about other accounts/usernames for the artist. best case scenario you rediscover him. even if that doesnt happen then at least more people can enjoy these lovely works
>>11343 best of luck anon i hope these surface again
>>12555 seconding this, art should be preserved. if anyone uploads all this stuff to pixiv post the link pls
This guy used to have a reasonably large discord server where he'd post some of his work. It was deleted without fanfare at one point and that probably coincided with his disappearance elsewhere.
The artist has resurfaced recently as mewtwowow on pixiv, but they only do adult-looking characters now, though the works carry the loli tag. I asked them about it and they said it was just to attract more viewers. They are also doing sketch requests/commissions for $5 right now.
>>15543 Sad that they are now charging for their work. Used to be that you could request anything on discord and they would have it drawn within a week or two for no charge. Or maybe they're just scraping out pixiv users while the cool kids in some new server retain their privileges.
Any more from this artist?
>>11342 Great art work
>>15608 How is it sad that he’s charging for work now?
Just finding out about this artist. Wish he knew or had a baraag account instead of a pixiv one.
>>15543 That means he is doing fine, at least seemingly. Good for him (bad for us, since no more little girls ):
