Ok,
stop. One thing to realize, this
isn't Sonic Team. This is Sumo Digital. Even with the newfags they got, it's still 5 times better than current Sonic Team. RoL was by BigRedButton,
not Sonic Team. Their problem wasn't even that they couldn't make a good game, SEGA fucked them over because of that 3 Sonic game exclusivity deal and didn't inform them which system Sonic Boom was for, from devs that were
exclusively Playstation developers, hence the use of the Unreal engine. And 06 was all the blame of SEGA yet again, as the entirety of Sonic Team was split 3 times over (yes,
three times over, making Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06 and Sonic games on the Wii at the same time.) It was a lost cause not because this team you downplay is shit, SEGA of Japan are shitty businessmen, and always have been since the 90s, since SEGA of America BTFO'd them countless times at doing their job.
Cut the pessimism, the FACT we got 2 Sonic games in the last 5 years getting delayed,
means something. Forces only got "forced" out the gate was because of Mania. Reason? SoJ thought Mania would
fail and used Forces as a clutch, thinking it was the superior product.
Oops. There is no financial reason for TSR devs to sit on their asses for literally HALF A YEAR considering what the video above states, without them actually doing
something with the game in the meantime. Need an example? Rayman Legends. Game was complete for the Wii U in March of 2014, but was delayed for ~5 months because Microsoft was buttmad Sony would get a release for the game first once Ubisoft decided to go multiplat for the game. Corporate bullshit. And for Sumo's case, there's
no proof they'll let a game sit for months on end, whether or not the game is "finished" already by now, and not expect to still pay their workers for a game that's done. They are
obligated to work on the game still until the game can be released. And with that news, I'm honestly looking forward in hopes the dev team heard the complaints with the game and is out to fix them, making the game get everso closer to ASRT tier of good, if not as good as the original one.
