/fringemeta/ Anonymous 07/05/2024 (Fri) 17:06:59 No. 1509
This thread is for the discussion of anything related to the management or future of /fringe/
I notice that thier are way more people here , and also that the """""'normal"""""" /X/ on 4chan , is kind of baren of organic conversstion , which considering my standars is basically 0. I assume this is just part of a drip and imigration of image boards , that happened when people moved to the /X/ here , and just now are they dripping off to /fringe/. But I smell something is off , is thier something I can do as kind of a newfag , but not the same type of newfag as this wave of people.

>>18202 There was a strange negative energy and idiocy wave in the past 2 weeks. Wanted to mention it, but it was too minor and idiotic to even bring it up. It was the "ignore and it goes away" kind of thing. >>17400 We still don't have enough retards and tripfags for that.
>>18205 >There was a strange negative energy and idiocy wave in the past 2 weeks. Wanted to mention it, but it was too minor and idiotic to even bring it up. It was the "ignore and it goes away" kind of thing. I have heard this boars does kind of shake off , people overtime So maybe I am just overthinking it and I should just make a good treath and just wait for the storm to pass.
>>18294 I wouldn't have any experience with riding on boars, but I'd be careful about making threats.

>>18295 >>18294 Some new threats on this boar would surely help. I like his newfig humor. I remember when the flag was called newfig and not newfag. But newfags wouldn't get it, so it's better kept this way for clarity.
Now that the neocity links have been nuked, should we give sticky design ideas for the BO? Or the BO figured out how to solve this issue and he's working on it already.
>>19109 >should we give sticky design ideas for the BO? Please do
>>19138 I was always a bad web designer and the last time I created or edited web pages was back in high school. Thinking about how we should link larger occult libraries or something "Basic" for newfags and neophytes alike. But unsure what. The occult library from 4cuck /t/? Maybe the library from wizardforums or the like? Or some other basic bitch magic tutorials? This greenpilling starting guide idea and how it should look like is always on my head... and I thought the guy who nuked the links would be able to recommend some stuff for the newbs... he was the one who surfed occult forums in his youth all the time. Or maybe keep the sticky as a proper introduction for fringe? Really unsure. Wonder if anyone else have any ideas to add. The possibilities are endless and if it feels off we can change it whenever. There are no bad ideas... I think. Unsure if someone cares enough to remake the fringe archive links. Only the oldest of the oldfags were there when those posts were made. Unsure if newfags even care about the olde fringe at all. The archives are definitely worth keeping, but I am unsure we need these >Look at the shitposts we made 10 years ago Maybe remaking the proper threads would be more beneficial than restoring the archives. I was playing with the idea of remaking the good threads from the past when this board restarted. But was too busy for that and still am. Anyone can remake those threads if they feel like it.

>>1699 I found out about this board after the half chan hacking affair because a general of interest migrated temporally here. I kept tabs open on it just in case, and eventually found this place more of my liking. Halfchan, including 4/x/ can be a funny place for satire now and then and it served it's intended purpose for me to search some valuable information at the time, but when it comes to constructive exchanges of any kind it falls short, and of course, there are virtually zero magic users on that place. I'm glad to find /fringe/ as it seems like a place on the web that still have honest practitioners and metaphysical discussion from that perspective, it's refreshing.
the fringechan archive was removed, we should make a new one.

>8ch.net is back No wonder I felt a disturbance in the force within the past 2 weeks.
>>21162 We'll need a new Arena thread if you don't want /ufology/ to become the new arena
(37.52 KB 480x358 Megas Bashfest.jpg)

>>21173 The ufology thread is Arena in Space since the start.
>>21173 Seems like the Help & Guidance thread is the one that requires an additional sequel
Emoji haters got real quiet when the opportunity arose to create a better sticky
Please add a rule against hexing other users or performing magic on other users without their consent. It's impossible for /fringe/ to be a place of productive discussion if people are literally trying to kill each other here. Maybe a rule requiring sigils to be spoilered would also be appropriate.
>>23875 I agree. I want this rule too.
>>23875 Is it really better? >>23875 good rules
>>23875 I'd make an exception for sigils that connect to deities that aren't conventionally considered to be evil, but that seems like something that'd get loopholed too much so idk.
>>23918 Why would conventions be correct in who is evil or not? I'm sure no one would agree on anything on this topic.
1. Post duplicate threads of topics that already exist before the previous thread has hit the bump limit 2. Make threads just to ask questions, never present substantial information if you're going to make a thread 3. Create new threads purely to no-effort shitpost 4. Avoid posting threads that fall under the subject matter of /fringe/ 5. Doxx posters, identify posts 6. Sit on the default flag or post with no flag all the time 7. Raid/attack the board I suggest using reverse psychology and changing the rules to above to cause the desired effect, seeing as no one follows the rules.
>>23875 Could we get some input from the BO on this?
>>23875 >>23978 I think that idea is only good on paper. People would just continue attacking each other without the ability to discuss it. >sigils It's good etiquette to spoiler them, but far too nebulous to be a hard rule. If it's really freaking you out that much you can use the report function and ask me to spoiler it for you. But really you should be using something like >>23153 if you're that sensitive.
>>24888 OP tried to delete it, presumably as retaliation against the excessive negativity being directed at him. While the sentiment is understandable, he must realize that I cannot allow such disruptions. Might make a new rule for this. You'll have to give a valid reason when deleting an established thread or I will restore it.
>>24889 I am sorry about directing any negativity towards the OP. You can delete my recent posts.
>>24891 Don't apologize, he deserves it. Even more so now. If he sees that people go out of their way to avoid hurting his ego just because they're afraid he'll sperg out and attack the board, it lets him know that his bad behavior is effective at making people act the way he wants and that he should do it more.
>>24892 So blood anon is the OP?
>>24951 He goes out of his way to create as many OP threads for generals that he can because he enjoys the power of being able to nuke them at will to get rid of anything embarrassing or incriminating. He did this back on /sunflower/ when he went back months after the fact and deleted a thread where he talked about how much he hates and fears White people, how he crosses the street when he sees them coming and how he thinks that they are some sort of alien mushroom people (that he will of course genocide). The reason he gave for this hatred btw was that he saw a kung fu movie with some White friends once and they made fun of it. That's it. He also deleted the thread where he tried to get djinn to kill me in retaliation to me breaking Sharia law by depicting muhammad. Here on /fringe/ he's deleted at least a couple threads where he's tried to curse people. I also remember that he deleted a series of posts in the question thread where he argued in defense of pedophilia and said that preventing children from having sex is child abuse because it "suppresses their natural sexual instinct" or something like that.
Why is this zhan beel guy spamming nonsense? I’m guessing he’s not banned because that would only backfire or something? Maybe he’ll have some part to play in the greater good just like gollum ultimately did.
>>25005 Someone else explained it earlier; he's devouring unclean energies from the board by posting these things.
Someone posted Democrat activismography in the question thread. Are we being raided?
>>25697 I meant cp. word filter
>>25698 He deleted it but I reported it.
I too reported it.
>>25699 >>25700 Your reports were not in vain btw everyone remember to always report cp to the global mods, in addition to reporting it to the /fringe/ admin (these are done separately)
