Since it was mentioned in another thread, Spliced is pretty good, but had limited original broadcast. I only heard of it in the past year. It was produced in 2008 for Teletoon, but didn't actually air on that channel until 2010. Cartoon Network only put it on their app while Qubo only had it on normal broadcast for about a month before removing it from the lineup for year then putting it on their Night Owl block before removing it from the channel entirely a couple years later.
I'm guessing the networks neglecting it and Qubo moving it to their late night block was because of the gross out humor and comedic body horror that might be a bit gruesome for younger kids. Example of the latter is the two lead characters get briefly turned inside out in an episode.
Entire series is on Tubi currently. As mentioned in the other thread it's "What if Dr. Moreau got arrested and sent to prison with all the crazy and weird experiments left to their own devices on the island?"
Pretty good show and reminds me of 90s to early 00s era Nickelodeon. The creators (Simon Racioppa and Richard Elliott) apparently mentioned Ren and Stimpy as an influence which isn't surprising after watching it.
I was a bit surprised one of the creators is the showrunner for Invincible and both were writers for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
