Why does he hate tradies and blue-collar workers so much? Like pretty much every tradesperson who's been on South Park has been a violent, stupid, alcoholic redneck who deserve to be jobless and have their jobs taken away. It's like he has the same mentality as movieblob where he thinks people who work with their hands and didn't go to university are sub humans who don't deserve basic human rights. Like what causes this way of thinking?

Examples? I haven't seen South Park in forever.
Dont know what you're talking about. There are blue collar workers who are just normal people in south park. Not to mention he also makes fun of those artsy fartsy liberal types as well.

/hsg/ - Homestuck General: White Male Grey Female Edition Anonymous 04/16/2025 (Wed) 12:39:29 No. 45024 [Reply] [Last]
While we've got everyone here, this might be a good place to finally try making a /hsg/ thread on a new board, since hopefully this /co/ won't nuke them on site. Make sure to read the board rules. Discuss how good homestuck was before act 6, how bad it got after act 6, the absolute disaster that is post-canon, how Hussie got groomed by ipgd, how Toby Fox succeeded where Hussie failed (at life), ships, fanfics, etc. Since the /hsg/ Original Posts were all around a single sentence long, I had to make one from scratch hopefully its enough of an effortpost. Feel free to suggest what should be included in the next one. >What about megidochan? Their /hsg/ aren't really about homestuck at all. its just a glorified /b/ that occassionally posts homestuck reaction images. If you want to make those kinds of posts, then by all means go there, but I think recent /hsg/ threads that were on 4/co/ were actually on-topic if only to correctly critcize Hussie and homestuck 2, and there where a fair amount of effort posts in them as well. If nothing else, it can be comfy in an odd way to talk about how badly homestuck went off the rails with peers. <but homostuck is too dead to have a regular general. Well yeah, I don't expect this to reach the bump limit any time soon. The point is to have a place to discuss homestuck and related content This should also serve as a place for homestuck-related posts that don't deserve their own thread, which would be most of them. >Info https://homestuck.net/index.html https://mspaintadventures.fandom.com/wiki/ >Art

Tubi Adult Animated Series 'Breaking Bear' Cast Reveals It's Cast https://archive.fo/XR0dh >Brendan Fraser (The Whale), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek), Elizabeth Hurley (The Royals) and Josh Gad (Frozen) will lead the voice cast for Tubi‘s new adult animated series Breaking Bear. >The series parodies the tropes of mobster dramas, comically combining elements of characters like Yogi Bear with series like The Sopranos. It hails from Julien Nitzberg (The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia), Evoke Entertainment (Creepshow, Twelve Forever, Day of the Dead) and Tom DeLonge’s To The Stars Media (Monsters of California, Unidentified). >Created by Nitzberg, Breaking Bear is billed as “a fur-flying, law-breaking, forest-saving rampage following a dysfunctional family of bears who go full criminal to stop frackers, mobsters, and a psychotic wolf pack from destroying their home. As they spiral deeper into the criminal abyss, they face off against biker gangs, an egomaniacal news anchor, and their own spectacular talent for self-sabotage.” >Fraser plays Jer. The oldest of the bear siblings, Jer fancies himself the brains of the operation. Unfortunately, he’s not only wrong – he’s lazy, clueless and usually the one getting everyone into hot water. If there is a wrong move to make, Jer has already made it. >Gellar plays Blair. The middle sister and actual brains of the family. Constantly overlooked, Blair’s the one who ends up cleaning up her brothers’ messes and keeping the family alive – whether they notice or not. >Murphy plays Tawny. A human, she’s a gorgeous local news anchor whose number one goal is getting ahead in her field to become the next big national newscaster. >Hurley plays Wolf Queen, the fierce and unyielding guardian of the forest. She is locked in a bitter rivalry with the Bears, whose growing presence and destructive ways threaten the land she is sworn to protect, by any means necessary. >Gad plays Alistar. The baby brother of the family, Alistar swings wildly from adorably anxious to full-on unhinged with zero warning. Push him the wrong way, and this teddy bear turns terrifying.

My friend and I publish an independent comic series and recently we added some features to our website. We're trying to make it into a community asset for other artists and creators. I'm hoping to get some feedback, particularly on whether or not features like the age gate make people less likely to hang around? Let me know! https://atomicomics.net/

I'll keep you on my radar for the time being.
I'll add that tomorrow, thanks for the feedback! Don't know how that one slipped my mind, tbh. Pixar’s ‘Elio’ Overhauled: Rewrites, Director Swap, and a $300M Budget https://archive.fo/KoKE4 >Back in 2023, a source revealed that the studio had serious concerns about the film during production, indicating it needed substantial reworking. Initially slated for a March 2024 release, “Elio” was delayed to June 2025. The release delay seems to confirm those struggles. >“Elio” was initially directed by Adrian Molina, but in 2024, he was replaced due to a “scheduling conflict,” which absolutely nobody believes. Despite his departure, Molina still holds a co-directing credit. The film is now being led by Domee Shi and Madeline Sharafian (“Turning Red”). >Behind the scenes, “Elio” has experienced major upheaval throughout its lengthy development, to the point where the budget tipped toward the $300M mark. A significant portion of the creative team was replaced midway through production—which, if you’ve seen both the 2023 and 2025 trailers, explains the dramatic shift in tone and style. While most of the character designs have remained intact, the latest trailer, released last month, revealed that some heroes and villains swapped roles entirely. >Alongside the director change, the film underwent extensive revisions in both its narrative and character development. The trailer also confirmed that Zoe Saldaña was now voicing Elio’s aunt, Olga Solis, replacing America Ferrera, who was originally cast as his mother but exited due to—wait for it—scheduling issues. >The earlier trailer leaned into a more somber sci-fi, highlighting Elio’s emotional distance from his hardworking mother. Although comedic elements were present later in the trailer, the overall portrayal of the protagonist was notably gloomier. That contrasts sharply with the lighter, more upbeat tone seen in the updated footage—and that’s all Domee Shi’s doing, as she was tasked with making it a more comedic affair. >A good film might still emerge when “Elio” premieres next month, but cautious optimism is warranted given the considerable drama surrounding the production since it began in the summer of 2022.

>>51408 >calarts beanmouth Blow me down, I thought this appaling art style was mocked a fucking decade ago and it's still here. Can Pixar please fucking do better, you degenerated husk of a company? Seriously, I am genuinely stunned this is what the film looks like.
>>51408 >>Alongside the director change, the film underwent extensive revisions in both its narrative and character development. Decided to actually rewatch the trailers just to see how "much" changed. The original trailer basically gave the impression that the story was essentially a reverse of the Tezuka's manga Wonder 3. For those not familiar with the manga, W3 was essentially about how three aliens come to Earth to "judge" our species and decide if the human race was worth exterminating or had the potential to become a peaceful race. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed with the story. Where Elio differs is that Elio is mistaken for Earth's leader and brought before the intergalactic council as the defendent of a trial where Earth is being judged for some yet-to-be-declared crime. And fearing for his life, adopts the position. If I was to speculate on the "message", it could be about how parents have responsibilities and commitments that require them spend time away from their kids, NOT because they don't love them but, because there are bigger problems in the world (From paying bills to fighting people that could kill them). However the new trailers for Elio is LITERALLY AND UNIRONICALLY Shark Tale, except with the "twist" that Elio wants to be abducted in the first place because life on Earth "sucks", and the aliens comply because "he's a dreamer". Also, there's vore bait in the new trailer.

Shrek 5 announced Anonymous 07/09/2024 (Tue) 22:20:07 No. 40539 [Reply] [Last]
DreamWorks Animation has announced that “Shrek 5″ is officially in development, with a far, far away release date of July 1, 2026. Original “Shrek” stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz are all confirmed to return. Antonio Banderas’ return as the feisty feline Puss in Boots is not yet confirmed. “Shrek 5” will be directed by Walt Dohrn, who served as a writer and artist on “Shrek 2” and “Shrek the Third,” and as head of story on “Shrek Forever After,” in which he also voiced Rumpelstiltskin. “Shrek 5” will be produced by franchise returner Gina Shay and Illumination founder Chris Meledandri; Brad Ableson serves as co-director. Basically kino is back on the menu

>>50304 Limits things a bit, but any position that lets me play with her horns or ears sounds fun and sexy. I've always kinda liked the idea of using horns as handle bars. At the same time though not sure how comfortable that would be for her, but I like to think that the horns are an erogenous zone along with the standard of elf ears being sensitive and that she would be into it. I just wouldn't expect them to be as sensitive as the ears being made of bone or keratin probably. I also prefer being able to look her in the eye and see her face during. So, for me my top three would be (1) Missionary or just anything facing each other since it seems the most intimate, (2) Anything from behind since it probably less awkward to grab her horns in that position than face to face plus it seems better if she wants it a bit more rough, and (3) Oral, because it's probably the easiest position to hold her horns and fondle her ears during. I suddenly desire to find a horned elf NSFW chatbot to play with for a bit.

New Jimmy Neutron in development Anonymous 03/29/2025 (Sat) 04:17:21 No. 44424 [Reply] [Last]
https://archive.ph/ofLp6 Some animation veteran listed it on their linkedin and it started in December 2023 at the latest. It was since updated to obsfuscate it (no archive because Linkedin needs login), which replaced the listing with one for a "sequel" (e.g., not reboot/remake). As a fan who is terrified yet curious, I've got to ask: Do people under 25 even know who Jimmy Neutron is at this point? I'm pretty sure it was only relatively popular in its day, not a juggernaut, and Planet Sheen was an abomination. Can't even pretend it does well in streaming because it doesn't have the best episode for viewing.

I don't think JN is popular enough for a real revival. Its really a product of its time, down to the humor and spastic mannerisms of the cast. People now seem to also want more overarching plots in their animated media (even if they still suck) and the show was always villain/monster of the week. Which is fine but I don't see it resonating with anyone beyond its old target audience, who are all in their 30's by now or late 20's. This same audience mostly moved on to crap like Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, Owl House, whatever the fuck Netflix is shilling like Dragon Prince or Castlevania.
>>51533 Thats not going to stop Viacom from trying. They're still aiming to make that live action Danny Phantom movie last I checked, not to mention all the plans they still have for Avatar. They want to milk all their Nick IP for all that they can. >People now seem to also want more overarching plots in their animated media (even if they still suck) and the show was always villain/monster of the week I'm in the opposite camp. I'd kill to go back to monster of the week episodic bullshittery. None of the leepest dore beanmouth shows have been any good and I'm tired of zoomers insisting that they were the peak of western animation. At this point however I doubt any of the heights of 90's/2000's action cartoons can be reached again, let alone the comedy cartoons from those eras. The internet ruined everything.
>>51533 >People now seem to also want more overarching plots in their animated media Jimmy Neutron actually had surprisingly good continuity, character growth, references to characters increasing in age, and passage of time in a pre-Avatar era where networks were terrified of and often outright prohibited it (Bye Bye Beavers). It wasn't in your face about it, and the order Nick aired episodes is horribly out of synch with production order (to the point villains who haven't debuted yet show up to take revenge), but you could tell when an episode was set by just how Cindy and Jimmy interact.
