Camo and other clothing Strelok 05/31/2020 (Sun) 21:06:19 No. 5396 [Reply] [Last]
Camo, jackets, hats, paint, shoes, and etc. go in this thread. The rule of thumb for camo is that if you don't know what to get, you want a general camo, your options are limited, or you're on a budget just get flecktarn. ATACS and SS-Leto are god-tier for lush environments, and alpenflage, strichtarn, and multicam are good for drier areas. M05 Winter for Winter.

>>13997 I don't think there has ever been a "meta" for Hawaiian shirt brands or anything. It's just a look and a bunch of people make those kinds of shirts. You really just want to find the shittiest looking one you can find, that makes it better. Try to avoid unorthodox colors though, I've seen some that really look like ass because the guy who bought it wanted to be quirked up and use some weird color one. If there was a meta brand it's whatever the FBI was using for their boogaloo boys tho so see if you can find any glowie info for your glowie larp
>>14030 thanks, sucks the hawaiian shirt aesthetic is got so tightly linked to the booga-glo boys before i ever got a chance to enjoy it. cest la vie.

Gun Dreams /k/ommando 04/23/2025 (Wed) 17:55:15 No. 14397 [Reply]
Have you had any gun dreams recently, anon? A few days ago, I dreamt that I was inspecting an MR 73 revolver in a gun store. Its finish was well worn, and it had a rail on the top with a scope mounted. It had a 3.5 inch barrel. I think that it real life MR73s have either 4 or 6 inch barrels. It was going for 836 dollars and some number of cents, I can't remember the cents. I could have bought it, but it would have eaten into my funds for PC parts, and I wanted a longer barrel. If there's interest in this thread, I can go through my diary for some other gun dreams.

Dreamt I had an AUG. I will buy one later this year...
>heavy trigger dream Absolute anxiety.
"I dreamed that I had a Mag-7. I chambered a round, then became concerned. I ejected a round, and saw that it was dimpled. A small divot, as if hit by a striker, was in the primer. The rounds were more like over sized pistol rounds than shotshells. In the same night, I dreamed that the frame of my Jericho had broken, and that I was hopelessly looking for a way to fix it" "I dreamed that I was examining a most unusual Kalashnikov rifle. One half of its receiver was cut-out, through which I could see its internal mechanisms. The other half (right) had a kind of music box clamped onto it. The box and its clamping arms were painted glossy red. In white, on the side of the box, I saw a crescent and star which I identified in the dream as the flag of Malaysia. In the waking world, the Malaysian flag has a yellow crescent and star, while Turkey's is white and red. My dream star had six or seven points. Through the aperture of the left side, I saw the rifle's mechanisms and the gears of the music box. The rifle's insides were those of a typical Kalashnikov. I did not see the trigger group. The music box was a mess of gears, and I do not know how music boxes work. It would not have been mechanically accurate. I planned to fire the rifle, but I awoke. I can't remember the tune that played, but I remember that by firing the gun, I would changed the tune." I also found a dream where I found the Fountain of Youth in the burnt ruins of Waco and I had a fight with head of the ATF. It's multiple paragraphs long and the Feds will psychoanalyze me if I type all of it here.

At what year in history would Soviets have had the best chance against the USA in a cold-war-gone-hot situation? I'm guessing somewhere between the USSR having more warheads, and the USA mass producing thermal sights?

>>13255 >>13418 Soviet logistics at all levels were propped by British and American industries till the very end of WW2. Even Zhukov admitted that without western materiel, they'd have lost. 50s for sure, USSR had ICBMs and the US didn't. If they did a continuation war of WW2 the US would have ended lend lease and the USSR couldn't match production due to production centres being destroyed.
Early 80s when the Soviets had a massive buildup of everything.

>>14110 Thermal tech like any digital technology improves exponentially. In 10 years what we have today will be "shitty" compared to what is available. The truth is that even lower tier thermals are decent out to 200 yards. AGM's lowest tier thermal can be found for sub $900 sometimes. One of my buddies has it and unless its past 300 or you are really trying hard, it is basically idential to mine. The V2 line has a good refresh rate of 50hz while the Zulus are even better at 60hz from their spec page online. I have no hands on experience with them, but Mullets, Mountains, America has reviewed some of DNT's products. I was pretty impressed with their performance. Tombstone 9mm lever action Anonymous 01/04/2023 (Wed) 17:53:01 No. 1294 [Reply] >>13746 >>14166
The Tombstone 9MM is POF-USA’s take on a lever-action rifle. Tombstone is a modern-lever-action chambered in a pistol caliber, initially offered in 9MM. The rifle comes with the same proven 20-round standard magazine, or optional 10-round, that accompanies the POF-USA Phoenix. The Tombstone’s compact overall length is just 36” and comes in at an ultra-lightweight 5.75lbs (unloaded weight). The trigger is a proprietary non-adjustable design, featuring a smooth pull and crisp break of 3.5lbs. The 16.5” free-floating 4150 steel barrel is complimented by POF’s 10.5” Modular Receiver Rail (M.R.R.), with M-Lok slots at the 3, 6, 9 and a 2” picatinny rail at the 12 position. The integrated XS Ghost Ring sights allow for quick target acquisition and POF’s removable dual port muzzle break is ideal for fast follow-up shots. Its total length is 16 and a half inches. So a little over a foot.

>>1294 >unironically less capacity than a Sig P365 micro compact 12rnd pistol out of the box >more expensive ammo than .22 plinker >less useful ammo than 30-30 Winchester >budget guard rail with 40% off, literally >partial picatinny top rail >no stock storage for meme tools >$1k to start larping grim
>>1294 TL;DR I'd rather have a 30-30 chambered tacticool lever gat personally and I presume this is primary being made for the PCC Commiefornia and Massachusetts market anyway. I hope the Tomstone finds some success in the states they're being marketed too till the lame ass laws that make such things necessary go away for good and these things become even more of a niche.
>>14166 theres just something about tacticool levergats that just scratches the itch
