Going to try and make this a monthly thing, with each month having a different theme and rules. We may be refugees now, but that's no excuse not to do a little shooting and have a little fun. This month's theme is focused around the smaller end of pistols. Think summer carry guns, subcompacts, snubnose revolvers, mouse guns, pocket guns, saturday night specials, and stuff like that. If you don't have anything like that, feel free to shoot with your usual carry gun. The rules are simple: 10 shots at 10 yards at the target provided in the pdf (B-3 target). Only post your first attempt. If you have multiple pistols that match the theme, you can compete with as many of them as you like, but only post your first attempt per gun. (2.58 MB 3672x2432 Bodyguard 380 10 x10.jpg)

I went back out today and I did better with the Bodyguard .380, but I took forever and a day between shots to stage the trigger just right.
>>15143 Nice work. Getting a small handgun to behave like a target pistol does take some fiddling.
>>15034 Still not bad. >>15143 Pretty good, especially for what you were shooting.

>>15006 >We probably don't stress that enough on /k/ you must fully identify your target first before taking the shot or a family member takes the bullet. That's because the most important rule of gun safety is to have fun. If you don't just shoot at noises sometimes you aren't doing it right.

Is this the official refugee center? I've been to 7chan and 8kun, which are alright, but they don't seem to have much traffic outside of a couple boards.

Looking at restored 4chan /k/ and there’s so much Ukraine War shitflinging and calling people shills and thirdies or whatever. This place is nicer even if rather slow. Pic unrelated.

Ask for opinions, suggestions and what not or just call each other faggots and ignore good advice. I'll start, so I've already gotten my Christmas shopping done early and wanna get something for myself with my remaining gift budget, been neglecting getting my Stoeger/knock off Turkish Benelli waterfowling shotgun a nice sling for a while and wanna change that. So long as said sling is made in America Taiwan or a gun friendly Euro country like the Czech Republic or Finland and has a good reputation for lasting I'm fine with it, I refuse to buy Chinisum though for several reasons. Bin looking at blue force gear stuff, maybe I'll just get one of those even though they're expensive I dunno but I'm not in any hurry. I was for a short time humoring the idea of putting a leather sling on it but decided that's dumb and more of a lever action thing. Also I already have swing swivels picked, plan on ordering them after Christmas so I don't have to worry about congesting traffic even more than it already is this year.

China's airforce is currently in Egypt conducting their first joint military exercise the "Eagles of Civilization 2025". Will the J-10Cs be staying after these exercises end?
1 post omitted.
>>13722 There were rumours that Egypt was interested in buying the J-10C from the Chinese months ago. So this exercise could meant that they want to see It in action against their own existing jets, or even that the jets would just be the ones they've ordered.
>>13740 Didn't know that. Interesting.
>>13740 >>14613 Probably won't happen. Egypt will most likely buy more European for their next aircraft for political reasons

Famous guns /k/ommando 08/13/2021 (Fri) 22:50:43 No. 403 [Reply]
Guns that are infamous. Such as this Charter Arms .38 undercover Used to kill famous hippie John Lennon. I call it the "imagine there's no oxygen" pistol.

Any other famous guns?
A classic. A Nagant revolver was used to kill Sergei Kirov, a close friend of Stalin, which jump-started the great purges in the Soviet Union.

This was one of the biggest pistols of Asian crime. People nicknamed it the "Black Star" and it had a reputation for power among the underworld.

Applying a 20mm Hispano cannon to a Cessna 172 /k/ommando 04/18/2025 (Fri) 11:19:26 No. 12681 [Reply]
Hello. If you were to attach a 20mm Hispano cannon to a Cessna 172, where would you personally attach it to and what direction? I’d probably attach it below the pilots seat just forward of the CG and have it facing backwards so the plane wouldn’t fall out of the sky.

Camo and other clothing Strelok 05/31/2020 (Sun) 21:06:19 No. 5396 [Reply] [Last]
Camo, jackets, hats, paint, shoes, and etc. go in this thread. The rule of thumb for camo is that if you don't know what to get, you want a general camo, your options are limited, or you're on a budget just get flecktarn. ATACS and SS-Leto are god-tier for lush environments, and alpenflage, strichtarn, and multicam are good for drier areas. M05 Winter for Winter.

>>13997 I don't think there has ever been a "meta" for Hawaiian shirt brands or anything. It's just a look and a bunch of people make those kinds of shirts. You really just want to find the shittiest looking one you can find, that makes it better. Try to avoid unorthodox colors though, I've seen some that really look like ass because the guy who bought it wanted to be quirked up and use some weird color one. If there was a meta brand it's whatever the FBI was using for their boogaloo boys tho so see if you can find any glowie info for your glowie larp
>>14030 thanks, sucks the hawaiian shirt aesthetic is got so tightly linked to the booga-glo boys before i ever got a chance to enjoy it. cest la vie.

Gun Dreams /k/ommando 04/23/2025 (Wed) 17:55:15 No. 14397 [Reply]
Have you had any gun dreams recently, anon? A few days ago, I dreamt that I was inspecting an MR 73 revolver in a gun store. Its finish was well worn, and it had a rail on the top with a scope mounted. It had a 3.5 inch barrel. I think that it real life MR73s have either 4 or 6 inch barrels. It was going for 836 dollars and some number of cents, I can't remember the cents. I could have bought it, but it would have eaten into my funds for PC parts, and I wanted a longer barrel. If there's interest in this thread, I can go through my diary for some other gun dreams.

Dreamt I had an AUG. I will buy one later this year...
>heavy trigger dream Absolute anxiety.
"I dreamed that I had a Mag-7. I chambered a round, then became concerned. I ejected a round, and saw that it was dimpled. A small divot, as if hit by a striker, was in the primer. The rounds were more like over sized pistol rounds than shotshells. In the same night, I dreamed that the frame of my Jericho had broken, and that I was hopelessly looking for a way to fix it" "I dreamed that I was examining a most unusual Kalashnikov rifle. One half of its receiver was cut-out, through which I could see its internal mechanisms. The other half (right) had a kind of music box clamped onto it. The box and its clamping arms were painted glossy red. In white, on the side of the box, I saw a crescent and star which I identified in the dream as the flag of Malaysia. In the waking world, the Malaysian flag has a yellow crescent and star, while Turkey's is white and red. My dream star had six or seven points. Through the aperture of the left side, I saw the rifle's mechanisms and the gears of the music box. The rifle's insides were those of a typical Kalashnikov. I did not see the trigger group. The music box was a mess of gears, and I do not know how music boxes work. It would not have been mechanically accurate. I planned to fire the rifle, but I awoke. I can't remember the tune that played, but I remember that by firing the gun, I would changed the tune." I also found a dream where I found the Fountain of Youth in the burnt ruins of Waco and I had a fight with head of the ATF. It's multiple paragraphs long and the Feds will psychoanalyze me if I type all of it here.
