So I found out something a little bit interesting while searching for anime officially posted on JewTube. Turns out that there's
entire channels dedicated to posting marathon runs of anime series all as one video. By itself, this is nothing impressive as official channels like "It's Anime" posts marathon runs themselves:

However, where things become interesting that these channels
are not officially licensing the shows. Now, why do >we care? People pirate anime all the time, and sometimes post it on JewTube, so what?
The difference with these channels is that they're asking for "donations" to keep posting content. To put it another way, they're illegally posting anime they don't have the rights to and making money off of it.
These channels are committing the exact definition of piracy that companies and the government are so pissy about. Now I don't know what "can" or "should" be done about these channels, but the only thing I can think of is to avoid them like the plague. If you want to watch a series, download it from Nyaa or similar sites:

If you want to give money for the purposes of acquiring a series, then buy the damn thing officially.
But absolutely do not give your money to pirates. The "point" of internet piracy is to force these companies to compete with "free". Not give your money to a fucking Communist.
