What happened to this place? It's a ghost town in here. OAB anon reporting in. Did a ton of homework and tried various things to no avail. I did however find out than many folks with OAB and Urge Incontinence did acquire it through a UTI. Seems like a Strep B UTI had the highest success rate. Anywho I did what anyone in a bad bout of BIID would do. Seems that I ended up giving myself an asymptomatic/silent uti not a full one. No symptoms just stonger pee for a bit. Total pain in the ass as I need to clear that up to try again or continue further. No clue as to why its asymptomatic as science itself has no real knowledge or info on this. Although in my experience it is more common with women, most likely due to the anatomical differences in their pelvic floor vs men, it can happen quite easily to anyone. The key is that it is a muscular "imbalance" so to speak. Even with very casual strengthening if the core's strengthening becomes too asymmetrical to the pelvic floor's strength then you end up with leaks. So you dont need to push yourself too hard, you just need to exercise in a very wrong way. On the bright side this form of incontinence is easily treatable, just improve the strength and coordination of the pelvic floor and it resolves itself, assuming not too much time has passed since it started.
