Hey /b/, got a religion question fer yas. So I did something pretty terrible, but no one knows. So, all good, right? But it's been on my stupid conscience anyway, and I think it has started to affect the relationship I have to the person it most betrays. I think it's a mental block thing I've developed. I was thinking about how it I were to tell them, it would remove that block I have, but then they would be hurt. Or if I don't tell them, they remain blissfully unaware and unaffected, but it sacrifices my ability to feel a connection to them. It's a conundrum. Then I got to thinking about how in Christianity you confess your sins to the Lord and HE forgives you. And I realized, isn't that kind of a dick move loophole? Like you can wrong people, and you don't need to get THEIR forgiveness, you just imagine that God is cool with it and you walk away with a clean conscious?
