i like human pre history. most of our information comes through artifacts, skeletons, and genes. still we can get a surprising amount of information with these sources. like recently we have had some break throughs in sequencing non human homo dna. this lead to use finding out that that modern humans have what is dubbed as ghost dna. this dna is from other members of the homo family like erectus, neanderthal, denisova, floresiensis ect. its believed that some human may possess genes from homos so primitive that they couldn't even breed with us. this occurred through homos like erectus breading with us who were also mixed with more archaic homos. human were breeding up and down the latter more than scientist originally thought. this isn't too crazy knowing than modern humans will still fuck random primates but hey conformation is nice.

A few more random comic stories happen, but then... >Chaotix, Skypatrol, Labyrinth, and Chaotix adaptations Super deep lore, but Tails Skypatrol and Sonic Labyrinth explicitly take place at the same time, according to the Japanese manuals. Chaotix came out right before them, so it works to say it takes place at the same time as well. There are also two completely separate Chaotix adaptations that are so different you can treat them as separate stories entirely. The Sonic the Comic one is really cool, even though it's very unrelated to the game. I'm putting tie-in adaptations of the same game together even if they came out at different times because they're meant to represent the same time in history, even though they're so different that I'd treat them as different but similar stories that all happened, so the events of each can all be referenced in the future. >OVA After a few more comic stories, the OVA happens. This can sort of almost fit in the game continuity. The President of South Island is a bit weird, and calling the main world "The World of the Sky" is pretty weird, but those elements can simply be ignored. The World of Darkness is reached through a portal, so that's fine. Eggman builds "Hyper Metal Sonic" in this. In the Chaotix Japanese manual, Metal Sonic is called Metal Sonic Kai. That wasn't the transformation name, it was just his name now. Like Robotnik was building new Metal Sonics every time, even though that's clearly not what Sega wants to act like now. But okay, we can just say he gives him new names when he upgrades him, and Hyper Metal Sonic is what he calls him after an AI upgrade that gives him Sonic's personality (or however they phrase that specific feature in the OVA). I guess South Island can have a president and a princess. We just don't have to mention which place they represent, because it's kinda weird. And I wouldn't use the phrase "World of the Sky," but I wouldn't contradict it either. Maybe it's just what the people in Princess Sara's country call the world. >Sonic the Fighters After a bunch more comic stories, Sonic the Fighters involves Robotnik fixing and upgrading the Death Egg II from Sonic 4, and the heroes having to destroy it. Then more comic stories happen.

Sonic Advance 1 and 2, and Sonic Pinball Party, slot in by release date. >Sonic Heroes prelude >Sonic X Episode 39, The Chaotix Detective Agency, was released two days before Sonic Heroes, and clearly exists to set up who they Chaotix are, so that takes place first. >ArchieSonic has a big arc called Sonic Adventure 2.5 that partially exists to bring Shadow back to life, even though Heroes isn't actually adapted in this series. Still, they establish that Shadow's body was found in space by aliens called the Bem, but then shot by other aliens called the Xorda, and he lands on Earth where Sonic and his friends found him. I'd show that this happened, but instead of Sonic and his friends finding Shadow, Eggman finds him. The events of Sonic Heroes then happen unaltered. This was only the very beginning of Sonic Adventure 2.5, though. The rest happens later. >Sonic Heroes actually happens >The rest of ArchieSonic up to #145 happens.
