Have you ever played a game that wasn't fun but still rewarding? I didn't enjoy at least half the time I spent playing Planescape Torment. I distinctly remember thinking to myself, "Anyone who says this is a good game is lying." The combat is below average and the terrible encounter design makes so many parts miserable to play. Looking back, however, the game did have have a lot of special moments that still stand out in my mind. The section between leaving the Hive and Ravel's Maze, which has hardly any combat, is like a really good point and click adventure. I don't know if I agree that it has the best video game story of all time, like everyone says, but certain parts have amazing atmosphere and pretty much all of the main party members are great once you're able to learn more about their backstories. I wish someone would make a mod that removed all of the generic enemies and only left the ones related to the story. IIRC, even the developers admitted that they only included combat out of obligation. Removing 99% of it would actually be more in line with their intentions.

Alternative form in Vidya Games that allow you to assume power with a sinister take and appearance to match. I've been thinking about games that allow you to turn into a monster since I enjoyed playing PSP2I's beast and loved using nanoblast to turn into a werewolf and the rare occasion I managed to use dark nanoblast to extend and become even more vicious. I'm looking for games that give you the feeling of turning into something more feral and vicious. Even better if it's something non human. I guess alternative versions of characters also count as well if the fifth image is anything to go by.

I am confused by something /v/. I was surprised to find out that borderlands 4 was released but it has less than 4000 reviews as of me writing this. I think this is odd since I was entirely expecting normalfags to just eat it up like they ate up 3. So why aren't they? It might not seem related at all but I was under the impression that about 3-5% of gamers leave steam reviews. So having the numbers for a major triple AAA game be low baffles me a bit. Seems like Battlefield 6 is getting a bit of excitement in the normalfag sphere due to normalfags getting a bit upset with the direction Call of Duty has been taking itself in recent years. I noticed that secure boot is required because of EA's shitty anti-cheat, so I figured that was something worthy of note. Still I believe there's an Open Beta going on right now with Battlefield 6 hitting capacity of them having over 20,000 people waiting to get into the game. I'm not particularly looking forward to the game since I already play Cawwaduty sometimes since it comes with my Gamepass subscription, but what do you faggots think? What happened to this franchise? It was once upon a time a very popular and beloved series. Did a zombie game really ruin their momentum? Or was it Hideo Kojima leaving? I have a lot of great memories playing these games and the only thing they released in the past 7 years are remasters. The remaster collection did great but I can't see why they couldn't make another solid (what a great joke lmao) game in the series for modern fans. If you ever played MGS1 on the Playstation 1, there was nothing like it. No doubt it catapulted the PS1 to levels it never would have done otherwise.

I was going to title this "awful protagonists" instead, though it sounds better it might be misunderstood. And not games where you being The Worst is a le epic twist in the last 5 minutes or some subtext, but a very core part of the protagonist and their context within the narrative.
