I have recently got this urge for classic fantasy. I mean the kind of sword and board that used to be everywhere. The kind of vibe that I am thinking of can be found in Heretic, There you are an elf shooting lightning at bad guys while flying around on wings of hatred. I think Golden axe has a similar vibe but a lot lighter. Gauntlet dark legacy has it as well. I guess Hexen has it as well being a sequel to heretic but I dont enjoy backtracking.

Gothic mystery game/visual novel in the style of Danganronpa and Ace Attorney, but now with magic(al girls). Fantastic artstyle, fun characters, interesting cases. I just want to talk about it.

We were at a Halloween party and he tried rizzing up some chick dressed as one of the characters with secrets about the next game. It actually worked, apparently the key to an autistic girl's heart is top secret Five Nights at Freddy's knowledge. So here's what you need to know to screw the next girl you see dressed like a slutty bird. From what I can remember, he said that the game has two interweaving narratives. There's one where you're a girl named Cassy who's chased by a mimic and a giant monster made of the robots and another that's set in the past where you're the mimic and trying to avoid getting captured. He said it's an attempt to bring asymmetric horror gameplay like DBD to a single player game.

For those not in the know, Valve has been working on a mixed reality headset for gamers to play both traditional games and VR games on. The rumored price for the full bundle is 1,200 dollars and the Proof of Concept ran a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which had a GPU one generation newer than the XR2 Gen 2, and used a 2160x2160 lenses with a 120hz frame rate. It also has two eye tracking cameras and 4 SLAM cameras. Chances are they'll likely make an LCD version first and then ship an OLED version a year or two later after prices go down a bit. One of the positives of this headset and why most people including myself are looking forward to it is because unlike Facebook, Samsung and Apple headsets, this will be running a fully fledged Arch system similar to the Steam Deck. Although the hardware will be running games on ARM through Proton and the FEX Emulator. It is also rumored to run Android XR and Facebook games through Waydroid, and is rumored to run a Adreno 750 GPU although there are other rumors of an AMD or NVidia GPU made for this headset, but you shouldn't get your hopes up for those rumors to be true. Personally, I hope this brings new life into the XR market and kicks the shit out of Facebook and Apple since they made VR headsets into shitty phones rather than an open marketplace where developers can make and distribute apps without an app store or anything like that. Valve has announced a new console-like mini pc, controller and headset.

Is VR still a fucking meme? Was looking at rowing machines and thought of it but what I can find is subscription fuckery. I'd rather just get a screenless rowing machine and sit in front of my actual TV playing water or not. Would also be nice to have a racing game newer than Gran Turismo 3 to go with my racing wheel. Heard Forza took over in that area but what I saw was driving full speed through obstacles with no consequences. Both of these seem prime VR candidates.
