Played it a long time ago, before a lot of the major updates. I enjoyed it, but I'm generally okay with grinding supportive tasks. If you want to be a lone wolf one man army you'll get burnt out real quick, the game and community doesn't really facilitate that playstyle. If you enjoy cooperating with others and aiming for long term goals you'll get more out of it. It's also a pretty big time sink, not something you pick up and play for short play sessions.

Honestly I never liked this game. Should be the poster child for misleading accessibility. I have no idea why sakurai thinks everything needs to be one button only when the controller has four others on the face and the game has multiple functions. Like doing everything with one button doesn't mean the game has only one mechanic.

As kids, my sister and I would play Kirby Air Ride on the gamecube so much. Unlocked almost everything, surely. Was fun to pick up all the super star pieces and get the epic music. Random events in the city were cool.

Have you played the custom class mod? Lets you do some more ridiculous stuff earlier, and makes some bad classes better (For example since you can remove attack in the mod, and call is actually the first thing Summoner gets instead of last, if you don't buy the summon magics in the shop you actually get a good random encounter deleter). It doesn't let you do anything crazier than the base game, but it does let you do more interesting things earlier.
